Buying something made to order asks more of you than buying off a shelf. You are paying before the thing exists, sending photographs to strangers, and trusting a date. It is reasonable to want answers first.
These are the questions that come up most, answered plainly. Where the answer is “no”, it says no.

Before you order
Who actually designs the book? — what “hand-designed” means here, and what it rules out.
What does a photo magazine look like inside? — you can page through finished ones on the product pages before ordering anything.
Do you have a physical store? — no, and this is how it works instead.
Do you deliver to my pin code? — yes, and here is what the timing actually depends on.
Is there a minimum order? — the smallest real order for each format.
While it is being made
Do you write the captions for me? — partly. The specifics have to come from you; the shaping does not.
Can I order without using WhatsApp? — yes, though one part is genuinely easier there.
Your photographs
Are my photos safe, and how long do you keep them? — seven days after dispatch, then permanently deleted.
Can I get a digital copy of the book? — a watermarked preview, yes. A clean print-ready file, no.

Service and policy
Can I see a sample before ordering? — digitally yes, physically no, and the three things you can actually look at.
Can you gift wrap it? — yes, and what that means for a parcel crossing India.
Do you offer gift vouchers? — no, and what solves the same problem better.
Will you sign an NDA for private photos? — yes, for corporate or sensitive work. Ask before sending anything.
Can you print in Hindi or a regional language? — yes: Hindi and Hinglish, and most other Indian scripts on request. For a grandparent it is often the better choice.
What we cannot answer on a page
Anything about your particular order — whether a date is achievable, whether your photographs are big enough, whether a size fits your count. Those need looking at, and looking at them is free.
What to have ready before you message
A first message that carries these gets a useful answer in one reply rather than three:
- The date it has to arrive by, and the city or pin code it is going to
- The format you are leaning towards — or just the occasion, if you have not decided
- Roughly how many photographs you have, and whether any are old prints to be scanned
- Who else is contributing, if it is a group effort
- The caption language, if it is not English

If it is a gift for someone else
Many orders here are gifts, which raises questions a purchase for yourself never does.

The three that decide most orders
Timing. 5 to 14 days from order to doorstep, 5 to 12 to Delhi NCR. Dispatch is weekly, on Mondays: an order placed by Friday goes out the coming Monday, provided you approve the proof when it arrives, while a weekend order waits for the Monday after. Prepaid. There is no cash on delivery, and the reason is structural rather than mean — a personalised object has exactly one buyer. Why we are prepaid only →
If something goes wrong
The full policies have their own pages, but their shape is worth knowing before you pay.
You change your mind straight away. Cancel within two hours of ordering, before a designer has started, and the refund is full.
You change your mind later. Once the proof has been sent, cancelling keeps a ₹150 design fee and refunds the rest. Once you have approved the proof it goes to print and can no longer be cancelled. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.
It arrives damaged or misprinted. Film the unboxing. A clear, unedited photo or video sent within 24 hours of delivery, with your order number, is what a free reprint rests on. The reprint is made within 48 hours and leaves with the next Monday dispatch.
What is not covered. A typo or a low-resolution photograph that was visible on the proof you approved, and the ordinary difference between a lit screen and ink on paper. After dispatch there are no returns, because the piece was made for one person. Returns and refunds →
If you designed it yourself
Some of the answers above change if you are sending a finished magazine rather than photographs. The file is one A4 portrait PDF, 8 to 40 pages with the cover counted, shared as a link, from ₹299 a copy. We check the page count, the size and the image quality, you confirm on WhatsApp, and it prints exactly as sent — so the spelling and the page order are yours to get right before you share it. What do I need to know before ordering a personalised gift? How long it takes, whether you see it before it prints, and what happens if it is wrong.
