Overview & Acceptance

By accessing or using The Print Story website (theprintstory.shop) and placing an order for custom photo magazines, diaries, polaroids, card decks or albums, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Personalised Custom Products

All items sold by The Print Story are printed on demand — custom-designed from photos and materials supplied by the customer, or, for magazine printing, printed from a finished file the customer designed. Because every piece is personalised:

• Customers are responsible for providing high-resolution images for optimal print quality.
• Customers must review and approve the digital PDF design proof sent via WhatsApp before printing commences.
• Once a digital proof is approved, the order enters production and cannot be altered or cancelled.
• For magazine printing, no design proof is made: we check the file the customer supplies and print it exactly as sent once the customer confirms on WhatsApp that it is ready, so its content, spelling and page order are the customer's responsibility.

Approval is the point of no return, and what can be refunded before it depends on how far the design has got. The full ladder — the 2-hour window, the ₹150 design fee once a proof has been sent, and what happens if a parcel arrives damaged — is set out in Returns & Refunds.

Pricing & Payments

All prices listed on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. We do not accept Cash on Delivery (COD) as every order is custom made.

Intellectual Property & Image Ownership

You retain full copyright and ownership over all photos and text content you submit to us. By submitting photos, you confirm that you hold necessary rights or consent from individuals appearing in the images. The Print Story will never sell or publish your personal photos without explicit written consent.

Limitation of Liability

The Print Story shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from minor color variance natural to digital print processes or delays caused by courier services beyond our reasonable control.

Customer Reviews

Reviews on our website come only from customers whose order we have delivered. How they are collected, checked and published:

• Only customers whose order has been delivered receive a private review link — a product can’t be reviewed before it has been received.
• The review page asks for the last 4 digits of the phone number on the order, so a review can only come from the person who ordered.
• A review is published under the customer’s first name, with the initial of their surname where the order carries one, or as “Anonymous” if they choose. If the order carries no usable name, the review appears as “Verified customer”.
• We publish genuine reviews whether they are positive or negative, and we never remove a review for being critical. Reviews that contain personal information, abuse or spam, or that aren’t about the product or the order, are not published.
• Photos appear only once a review is approved, and their location data is removed before they’re stored.
• Because every piece is designed by hand around its customer’s photos, reviews are shared across products of the same kind — a review of any of our magazines appears on every magazine’s page. Once a range has enough verified reviews, the rating shown on its pages is for that whole range.
• We may reply publicly to a review. A reply appears beneath the review as “The Print Story”, and is hidden whenever the review is. If we reply, we may email the customer once to let them know.
• We choose a few reviews to feature, which shows them first on product pages and at the top of our reviews page. Featuring changes where a review appears, never whether it is published, and we feature only reviews that are already published.
• Visitors can mark a review as helpful, and the number is shown beside it. It does not affect a review’s rating, its order on the page, or whether it is published or featured.
