Documents, not photos
WhatsApp recompresses anything sent through the image picker. A photo that looks fine on screen can lose its detail entirely after two rounds of that — and nothing brings it back.
Close crops beat landscapes
At 76 × 51 mm, a mountain range becomes a grey smudge and a face fills the frame beautifully. Wide shots belong in a travel magazine spread, not on a print this size.
Screenshots rarely hold up
A saved Instagram post is already compressed; a screenshot maxes out at your screen resolution. Go to the original camera roll first — or send them and we will tell you which survive.

Anything straight off a modern phone camera is fine at this print size. What causes problems is compression, so send photos on WhatsApp as documents rather than as images. Screenshots and saved Instagram posts are the usual failures — send them and we will tell you which ones will not hold up.
