What to actually look at
Most people flick through admiring the photographs, which is the least useful thing on the screen. The photographs are somebody else’s. What transfers to your book is everything around them.

What a preview cannot show you
Three things, and they are the ones people ask about afterwards.
Weight. A preview cannot convey 300 GSM cardstock under your thumb. The specification is stated — 300 GSM matte cover, 170 GSM non-glare inner pages — but a number is not a texture.
How matte reads in a room. The non-glare finish is chosen so a page is legible under a ceiling light at any angle. On a screen it just looks like a page.
Scale. Screens flatten size. A 40-page magazine is a substantially larger object in the hand than an 8-page one, and no preview conveys the difference. Paper and printing explained →
Seeing YOUR book before it prints
The preview shows what the format does. The proof shows what your book does, and that is the guarantee that actually matters: every page of your own magazine, as a PDF, before anything is printed. Nothing goes to press until you approve it, and revisions are included.

What differs between the preview and yours
The preview is one customer’s brief at one size. Yours differs in page count, in how many photographs sit on a spread, and in whether it has text pages. What does not differ is the paper, the binding and the finish — those are the same at every size, from ₹499 for 8 pages to ₹1,099 for 40.
