Where the value sits
The first jump costs most. 20 to 40 pages is ₹300; every step after is ₹200. That is the cover and binding being amortised — a hardcover’s fixed costs sit mostly in the case, not the pages.
Doubling from 20 to 40 pages costs 23% more and holds twice as much. That is the best move on the ladder and the one worth checking your photograph count against before settling for the smallest size.

Against the magazine ladder
An album starts where the magazine range ends. A 40-page magazine at ₹1,099 and a 20-page album at ₹1,299 hold roughly the same number of images — about 160 and 80 — so the album is not more capacity for the money.
