Ten years is an archive rather than a story, and that changes what to make. A first anniversary has one year to tell and tells it in order. A tenth has thousands of photographs, no structure, and a decade that nobody has ever put in sequence — which is both the difficulty and the opportunity.
The traditional gift is tin, which suggests nothing. Ignore it.
The difficulty: a decade does not fit
Attempting “everything since the wedding” produces a catalogue, and a catalogue of ten years is less moving than twenty well-chosen images from one year of it.
A constraint is what turns an archive into a book. Four that work:

Include the difficult year
Every ten-year marriage has one. The year of the illness, the job that went wrong, the stretch where you barely spoke.
A book that skips it is a highlight reel and reads like one. A book that includes it — without commentary, just the photographs from that year in their place — is the one that lands, because it says I was there for all of it rather than here are the good bits.

Where the photographs are
Ten years of archive is scattered across more places than a first year.
Old phones hold years three to six, which are usually the thinnest in cloud backups. Her parents have prints from the wedding and the early years. The group chats hold the ones nobody saved properly. Instagram archives — download originals, not screenshots; compressed images print visibly soft at 300 GSM.
Allow two to three weeks for gathering. That stage runs longer than the printing does.
