Sheets, not pages
A sheet is one leaf of paper. It has two sides, and each side is a page, so 60 sheets is 120 pages and every size here doubles the same way.
That matters when you set it beside a notebook from a stationery shop, because those are labelled either way. A register sold as “200 pages” is 100 sheets. Compare pages with pages before deciding a diary looks small.

An unfinished diary is a small failure that sits on a shelf. A 240-page diary given to someone who writes twice a month is 200 blank pages of quiet reproach, and it is the most common way this gift goes wrong.

Three people, sized

When to go up a size
