Made-to-order has a quiet period in the middle that worries people, largely because nothing visible happens for a few days. Here is what is actually going on and when.
Day by day
Everything hangs on one rule: order by Friday and your piece is designed, proofed, printed and dispatched on the coming Monday, provided you approve the proof when it arrives. Here is an order placed on a Wednesday, going somewhere outside Delhi NCR.

Which Monday is yours
The day of the week you pay on decides the dispatch, and nothing else you do can move it earlier.

A Friday order and a Monday order from the same week leave on the same Monday. The Monday order simply has more room around it — more time for photographs to arrive and for the proof to be read properly — which is why ordering early is still the calmer choice even though it is not the faster one.
Why the range is so wide
Three reasons, and none of them is padding.
Which side of Friday you order on. An order placed by Friday goes out on the coming Monday; one placed on Saturday or Sunday misses that dispatch and waits for the next. That single weekend is where a week appears or disappears. Ordering on a weekday rather than at the weekend is worth more than anything else you can do; paying more does not buy speed.
Two things wait on you. The designer can only start once your photographs arrive, and nothing prints until you approve the proof. Send the material with the order and reply to the proof when it lands, and the Monday holds. Only an approval that comes very late moves the order to the following Monday.
Courier transit varies by pin code. Two to three days within Delhi NCR, three to five to the rest of India, which is the 5 to 12 against 5 to 14.
Three orders, three arrival dates
The same rule, applied to three real-shaped orders.
Ordered on a Friday evening, going to Gurugram. Photographs sent that night, the proof approved the day it arrives. It leaves on Monday and lands on the Wednesday or Thursday — five or six days in all, the quickest this schedule allows.
Ordered on a Wednesday, going to Chennai. Same care with the photographs and the proof. It leaves on the coming Monday, five days after the order, and arrives three to five days later: eight to ten days door to door.
Ordered on a Saturday, going to Guwahati. It has missed the Friday cutoff, so it leaves on the Monday nine days later, then has the longest transit. Twelve to fourteen days — the far end of the window, and nothing went wrong.
The quiet bit in the middle
Between sending your photographs and receiving the proof there is a stretch where nothing arrives. That is the design stage, and it is a person doing the work.
If your Monday is getting close and you have sent everything but seen no proof, message us — it usually means a file did not come through.
What you will hear from us
A confirmation email at the start with a tracking code. A message asking for material. The proof. A dispatch note with courier details. Then delivery.

We work Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm. An order placed late at night hears from us the next morning, and one placed on a Sunday hears on Monday — the WhatsApp number you gave at checkout is where that first message goes, so it needs to be yours.

If you ordered a magazine you designed yourself
The printing service follows the same Monday rule with a different middle. Nothing is designed and there is no proof: we check the PDF you sent — page count, size, image quality — and you confirm on WhatsApp that it is ready. It then prints exactly as sent. On the tracking page the design step reads “Checking your file” instead.

Only three things genuinely move the needle, and all three are yours.
Gather the photographs before ordering. Order on a weekday rather than at a weekend. Send all your proof changes in one message rather than three.

How long after ordering will it arrive? 5 to 14 days from order to doorstep, 5 to 12 to Delhi NCR, depending on which day you order, where it is going, and how quickly material and proof approval come back.
Why has nothing happened for three days? That is usually the design stage: a person is laying out your pages, and the next thing you see is the proof. If your dispatch Monday is close and no proof has arrived, a file may not have reached us — message us.
Do you dispatch every day? No, once a week on Mondays. It is why ordering by Friday rather than at the weekend can save a full seven days.
Will I know when it ships? Yes, you get a dispatch note with courier details, and you can check status any time with your tracking code.
Can I speed it up? Send photographs before you order, order on a weekday, and send proof changes in one message. Those three are worth more than anything else.
