Flat ₹70 delivery per shipment. One delivery to the institution rather than a hundred and twenty homes is the single biggest cost saving available here.
The honest constraint: at ₹75 a head across a batch, you cannot give every student an individual book. Everything below is about what to do instead.
What scales at student budgets
One book per section or house, not per student. Six copies of a book about the year, one for each group, kept by whoever the group decides. Cheaper by an order of magnitude and it produces something genuinely shared rather than a hundred and twenty thin objects.
One book for the leaving batch, given to the seniors collectively. The strongest version if juniors are gifting seniors — it is a gift from one year group to another rather than a distribution.
Print sets rather than books. Thirty polaroid-style prints at ₹270 covers a group at a fraction of a book each, and they end up on hostel walls, which is where a farewell gift belongs.
Books for the teachers, prints for the students. A common and sensible split: five or six people get something individual, everyone gets something small.

Collecting from a year group
Harder than a corporate collection, because nobody has authority.
One person owns it. Two organisers means neither chases.
Use the existing group. The class WhatsApp group has the photographs already. Scrolling back an hour beats asking everyone.
Ask for one specific thing each. “Send a photo and one line about a specific thing that happened” produces content. “Write something for the farewell book” produces a hundred and twenty variations of “all the best”.
Deadline two weeks before you order. In a student group, expect a third to miss it and plan the book so it works with what arrives.
Collect money before ordering, not after. This is the one that goes wrong.
Timing

What to avoid
Anything that ranks people. Different gifts for different students, however well-intentioned, reads as a hierarchy in a room where everyone can see everyone else’s.
