Three prompts that produce something real:
- Name a specific ordinary day, not a holiday. The Tuesday, the drive, the hospital waiting room. Specificity is what makes it not a card.
- Say one thing you have never said out loud because it seemed obvious. Those are the lines people keep.
- Say what you plan to do about the year ahead, concretely. An anniversary letter that is only about the past is half a letter.
